It's been 1075 days since Bush said he'd catch Osama bin Laden 'Dead or Alive!'

Yawn.

In 1917, President Woodrow Wilson ordered General John Pershing to lead an expeditionary force into Mexico to capture Pancho Villa "dead or alive" in retaliation for his having lead hundreds of his guerrilla soldiers over the Mexican border in an attack against the U.S. town of Columbus, New Mexico.

They never caught him*, and Villa died in 1923; that's something on the order of 2,000 days.

What's your point?
