One gunner who was on Kerry's boat says he shot a man with an ak47, also an unarmed boy, and I believe a woman. Kerry reported 6 Viet Cong killed. The gunner stated Kerry was not at his post, which caused the incident to be worse than it needed to be. Kerry got a bronze star for that based on Kerry's report. Now that is one person's word against another. Can anyone really prove what happened? Do you think it is unAmerican to speak out against someone who has done something wrong? I will say lots of accidents do happen in war, and considering the difficult situation, I think we shouldn't be hard on any vet. However, getting a medal for a lie, is something that measure scrutiny when electing a president.
