That's right. My concern is about his basic integrity. I've heard other vets say they would be embarrassed to accept medals unless they were severely injured because so many had serious wounds. The timeline of events for Kerry is very suspicious, with the brief tour but numerous medals, and then add his rush home to run for political office. He has admitted the 1st Purple Heart probably is not valid because it was caused by a piece of shrapnel from his own grenade--not enemy fire. He has also admitted that he wasn't in Cambodia for Xmas 1968. Today Lehman, former Secy of the Navy whose signature is on Kerry's Silver Star citation, said he never saw the document and he doesn't know who really signed it.
