Peter: Looks like the program may have brought a little more attention to the company already-stock's up today. The program "New Competitors" aired Sunday a.m. in my area, So. Ca., on the same channel on which CNBC is aired during the week. It's the first time I've seen the program. I just happened to be channel surfing waiting to go into the shower when I heard the name Endosonics.

The show compared the different technologies available to determine the patency level of arteries in the heart. Angiograms now look like ancient history when compared to the ultrasound technology offered by Endosonics and vs ultrasound technology offered by competing co.s. Endosonics utilizes fixed, stationary sensors around the circumference of the catheter tip vs a spinning sensor inside a catheter in competing technologies. The spinning sensor vibrates and causes a blurred picture as compared to Endosonic's pictures.
I think the program also stated Endosonics was the only co. that offered three dimensional representations of the viewed areas. There will soon be color to further assist the diagnostician as well as plans to utilize this technology for other areas of the body including gynecological and colorectal uses.

I'm sure I forgot a number of salient points of the program but the segment was only about 10 minutes in length but provided great exposure to the co.

Insider Trader, insidertrader.com, offered the following concerning insider buying of the stock: The chairman, president, and CFO at Endosonics have shown their own bullishness by gradually picking up more than $300,000 worth of stock over the past ten months at prices ranging from $8.88 to $11.88. These are the first ever open-market purchases by these high-ranking officers, and the first purchases by any insiders in over four years. "We feel that the demand for IVUS will continue to be good," comments Donald Huffman, CFO of Endosonics. "The acquisition of Cardiometrics is a really good fit, and will enhance our existing products." Note: IVUS: IntraVascular UltraSound.

I like trading in options and am looking to purchase in-the-money calls as far out as possible, they currently don't offer LEAPS, and keep rolling them over to farther out calls when advantageous to do so. I can leverage many more shares this way and, in essence, hold the stock as long term as I wish. I think there's a good possibility J&J, who virtually monopolizes the stent market for now but competitors are coming, could try to buy this co. sometime in the future.

I hope this helps somewhat. Any opinions?
