consider this possibility:
maybe he is left place because we have him under watch.
If they take him out, the terrorists will be disconnected from that source and would be harder to track.
Hard to say what is going on behind the scenes.
However, the main guy we need get now is the Palestinian in Iraq that was communicating with Bin Laden.
