I heard 300 cruise missiles. WHo knows the true number, but it was a lot. The problem was that until after 9-11 and 2-3 billion in bribes to Pakistan we had no airspace permissions to get into Afghanistan so Clinton's {Pakistani hit team was the only other way. It's too far a flight from the Indian ocean to make airstrikes safely so missiles were the only way. Some of them just missed wiping out Al Qaida leadership. That's why Clinton started the program to arm Predator drones. Bush disbanded it or didn't push it. Whatever the case, Bush did nothing on counter-terror until after 9-11. Not a single thing. Why do you defend that if you care about security? Clinton may have failed to take out Al Qaida but at least he tried. Bush did zero.
