Tradermike, there are all kinds of infinities. The quotient of 1/0, the number of real numbers between 1 and 2, the number of ads I have received in one form or another over my almost 80 years of life which promise the same thing that you are promising with your tip sheet, or is it advice bulletin. Naturally I shan't respond to yours, indistinguishable as it is from the rest of that infinite set. You could distinguish yourself by offering one free issue of your regular service, I mean absolutely free, without collecting a credit card number. Frankly I don't know you and I don't like to give out a credit card number that readily. If you gave one sample, I could probably rather quickly decide whether or not your newsletter is intelligent and useful. Also I waste enough time every day disposing of spam without giving out my email address to yet another stranger. You could use snail mail, for example. Or you could announce one free issue per year which you publicly post so all can examine and after a year, reflect, "my how right tradermike was, I think I'll pay him the money and subscribe." I don't sell advice but I do sell software, that is my team sells it, and I've never seen anybody refuse to use a free sample. Your risk-free trial may perhaps be risk free but it isn't free. |
