Appeasement never pays!!

On France said early on Sunday that it was more than ever mobilized after two French journalists were taken hostage in Iraq by militants demanding the rescinding of a ban on the Islamic headscarf in French schools.
As a matter of state policy, French did all the right things, made the right noises to pacify the Islamist militants, to the extent that they agreed on humiliating compromise with butcher of Tripoli on ‘terror downing’ of UTA plane, selling the dead people on a cheap compensation so as to get rewarded the right commercial openings. Policies emanating from demands of commercial openings and oil field contracts cannot change the mindset of the ruffians and thugs that are out to destroy the precarious balance on which fragile peace is enduring within competing ideological stance.
However, the goal posts and demands from these vandals keep moving, obliteration of ‘freedom and pluralism’ is the real goal, and contemporary behaviour of these militants since last decade is entirely bewildering. Commencing from OBL primary call for the removal of US forces from Saudi ‘holy soil’ to present set of demands from French government through which 'militants in Iraq are demanding the rescinding of a ban on the Islamic headscarf in French schools' the object remains to pull the world towards medievalism.
A genesis of the present war on terror will highlight that from day one it was never the intention to purify the 'holy land' in the first place by OBL, the purpose was to remove Saud’s from the dynastic rule and replace it by Ladenism kind of extremist Islam where Talbenisation flourishes in full glory, not taking anything away in medievalism from Wahabis it is love of ‘Talbenisation’ that help breaks new grounds to rush communities to the bottom of the mankind lowest digs and pits. Sadr objective for all this recent orgy of blood was not to fight for freedom from occupation forces but ‘personal glory’ and establishment of ‘Qom’ based theocracy that would have called for new Islamic revolution in Iraq on the pattern of Shiite model of Talbenisation.
A system based on norms of dark ages is the ultimate objective, as French demand freedom of their journalists from crutches of terrorists, we need to appreciate that drawing moral equivalence and providing justification of evil only comes to haunt the collective conscience of mankind, French should have learnt this lesson by now, post UTA bombing and their recent posturing on global arena should have eased pressure on them as far as global Jihad Inc was concerned, but no, the weakness of the knees has helped to earn the irk of the terrorist, they are now demanding ‘constitutional changes’ the way French live demanding rescinding of a ban on the Islamic headscarf in French schools, this is a terrible new low in demands of the terrorists, it is now not about removal of few soldiers as in case of Italy.
The weakness and appeasement by Mr. Chirac has now opened the door of ‘legislative and semi constitutional revisions.' This is like asking French to go back in time. This is the mother of all burdens for nay nation to be confronted with. This is the 'real thing' and what a tragedy out of any country France, sympathetic to the status quo, is served with this nightmarish ultimatum. It is ironic that French are now facing the ugly brunt of the terrorists. The worst point is that the millions of French nationals of North African origins will find 'moral reasoning' and equivlance to ask for such removal to save the lives of the French journalists. May be French once again pull this thing off from their diplomatic bag of tricks, but it can be argued what a mess a nation can pull itself in despite being so nice.
We as humanity at large have said our goodbyes to that kind of debasing obscurity a long time ago. Shorter spans of reasoning lead to acceptance of terror requisites that are wrapped as yearning of freedom from yoke of occupation; however these are disguised yearnings of reoccupation of global freedom and replacement of pluralism with new medievalism, if a single demand is met the bar is raised for the next one, imagine how difficult a demand from French who had not contributed a single soldier to Iraq rather wished everyone of the combatants well on every each side they were success, to be treated so shabbily by the Islamist terrorists .
No amount of appeasement or negotiations will help resolve this issue, only firm ‘confrontation’ and eradication of this ‘cultish determination’ raising its ugly spectre is the course left for mankind. |
