The Viet Nam war was unjust, evil, and illegal. Johnston fabricated the Gulf of Tonkin incident to force Congress to appropriate funds to expand our involvement. John Kerry served his country until facts about the Gulf of Tonkin resolution became widely known. Then John Kerry the decorated hero of the Viet Nam conflict, like any true hero should do, stood up bravely against the lying warmongers in Washington who sacrificed over 55,000 young American lives for their lies. The new warmongers on this board are mostly immoral draft dodgers and armchair patriots who never saw combat. The fact that this war, like Bush's war against Iraq, was fought because of lies created by self-serving politicians makes absolutely no difference to the immoral warmongers.
