LIAR. SmearVets do not care about what McCain says. They are for smearing no matter what, same as they did to McCain in 2000, with a slightly different cast of characters but the same sleazy gameplane from Rove-Bush. Kerry was also a hero in his anti war actions. He helped end that heinsous war after it had become totally out of control and a nightmare for the country. God bless him for that. The big lie the SmearVets tell is that Kerry accused THEM of atrocities. He never said that. He said soldier he'd talked to told them about atrocities and he admitted his unit too took part in them. Remember Steve Gardner gunning down the kid? That's an atrocity. So was much of our bombing, Agent Orange, napalm and much of the the Phoenix Program, not to mention the My Lai massacre type events. But Kerry never said all, most or even that many soldiers took part in them, and he also blamed the poloicy-makers and top brass not the troops themseles. He was there to represent the troops who wanted their story told. The rightwing vets intentionally mislead the public about this to smear Kerry.
