The F-102A is a double seater with an instructor manning the stick like driver's ed cars. The plane is very easy to fly compared to others, but per GW's records only in 1971 was he cleared to fly anything solo, but his records after that don't show any evidence that he ever flew solo. Maybe he did a few times but by May 1972 he was AWOL and never flew for the Guard again. In fact he was grounded and refused to take his drug test which may be the reason why he never flew. Yes, I demand proof that Bush ever flew a jet fighter solo. He called himself a jet fighter pilot yesterday. I maintain he never reached that point. I believe he's a phony and a liar, though he did indeed train to learn how to fly until 1972 when he skipped.
