Rruf - you have proven to me beyond any doubt that you are
not sincere in your questions - nor in being convinced of
anything other than what you intend to project with your posts.

I have seen "employment regulations" and yes - they often
lead to unfair hiring - when they decided they had to have more
"male" stewardess on airlines - they started hiring all males
until they felt the "quota" was achieved. During this time
more qualified females were left unemployed
simply because males had to be "legally" hired.

It seems reasonable to me that if hiring of blacks was legislated
and followed to the point where twice the % of blacks
were hired as compared to their % within the population then
indeed legislation had tipped the scales unfairly in one direction.

Do you think that government should have the right to tell me
I must hire a certain 5 of blacks or males or whatever?

If I risk my capital and time and trouble to start a company
I do not need some government agency telling me who I must or must not hire.

That should be my choice based upon my preferences.

I will hire according to ability - not color or sex.

I have no intention of hiring homosexuals either.

It is MY BUSINESS - literally.

So you judge - am I a hate monger...

I am sure you will accuse me.

After all - you are a pretty rruff character.
