When Bush wins, which is now an "almost certainty," something is going to be done about Iran's nukes.

Something?

Like what?

Sanctions are unthinkable, with the world oil markets the way they are. Trying to cut off Iran's oil would be blowing off our heads to spite our faces.

Regime change is too big to contemplate until there is some kind of resolution in Iraq. Occupying Iran would be a huge and very messy job, especially if we are still occupying Iraq.

The only practical option is limited military action directed at nuclear facilities. They know this as well as we do, and they have to have planned for it, unless they are complete idiots. I'd hope for that, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Your posts often sound like you don't think we are at war with Militant Islam.

I know we're at war. I just don't think we're winning, and I don't think we're doing a very good job of fighting the war.

The military has been brilliant. Political leadership and strategy development have been lame, to say the least.
