Medimmune stops arthritis and psoriasis trials Monday August 30, 9:14 am ET CHICAGO, Aug 30 (Reuters) - MedImmune Inc. (NasdaqNM:MEDI - News) on Monday said it halted clinical trials of its drug Vitaxin for rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis, blaming a lack of benefits seen with the experimental treatment. The Gaithersburg, Maryland-based drug maker said no safety issues came up during the trial. It will continue to study the compound to treat cancer.
