To an extent that's true, there are definitely dangerous islamist radicals out there

It's not the only truth in existence, however, much as some would like it seen as the only truth .... nothing is served by us pulling down our own civilisation to combat a problem that cannot threaten our survival directly

We'll be far stronger if we keep our civil liberties, all our glorious diversity of thought, and especially our freedom from religion

The thing wrong with the Iraq invasion, is that it was all decided by a very few extremely powerful men who had power in Washington DC, and then imposed on the Rest of Us ...... this manner of rule is not civilised, it is the opposite of civilised, it is dictatorship

When you decide you want to be 'at war', it would seem to me wise to try to make sure you fight your 'war' smart .... stiff-arming all your natural allies off to the side with this 'yer with us or yer agin us' garbage is not particularly smart, by any measure .... a lot of the Rest of Us out here, we look at people with this attitude, and think, would we buy a used war plan from these men? ..... well i sure wouldn't, i'd prefer to shop around thanks anyway
