Read the LA Times investigation. It shows Kerry in Cambodia or damn close on the date questioned. It cplainly dsays he could have been there easily. It also has him in Cambodia 3-4 other times. That takes balls of steel. The Vietnam War as SO wrong that by 1971 it was not attacking our country to criticize it, it was trying to SAVE our country to criticize and expose it. The cost of that war to this country we are still paying. Bottomline, it was the worst military and foreign policy mistake this country has ever made. So why keep it going? You're such a pro-military guy, so I suppose you support AWOL Bush entirely because of his brave and honest combat record? And Cheney dodging the draft too of course. How about the White House's outing the CIA officer? That is literally treason. Yet of course they cover it up after Bush promised to hold the guilty party accountable. John Kerry is an honest as they come and he's a real hero. Is his entire life perfect? No. Is he being lied about and attacked unfairly? Of course. Would be be a better presdient that Bush. Absolutely. Frankly, who cares if he asked for his first Purple Heart? He's certainly not the only one who did and he was wounded in action so I guess he deserved it. But you weren't there and neither was I. One thing we do know is that the SmearVets have repeatedly lied and fabricated so why give them the benefit of the doubt about any new stories. If they lie ten times in a row why assume their eleventh claim is true? And by then, who cares? Liars are liars and Kerry is a great American hero anyway you cut it.
