Oh I can assure you I used smelly in its correct reference. Anybody who deals with us in Iraq is damaged goods -- smells bad. That is why Sadr is clean as a whistle and smells pretty. He smells like a bottle of $1,000 perfume for his violent and unyielding opposition to the US. We are an army of occupation -- once the implications of this sink in, other things will be more clear. Iraq is fighting for liberation -- that is the reality we face. We can behave accordingly or we can pretend it is otherwise. Pretend if you like, but it does us no good to pretend.
