Ted, they see the foundation of this nation as one that depends on the traditional family, and they'll use whatever means necessary to preserve it, even legislation of morality.

I happen to agree with them, but I don't agree that legislation alone will change the hearts and minds of a society that is becoming more and more accepting of homosexuality as a lifestyle.

Let me put it this way: If homosexuality ought to be outlawed, then so should adultery. Now guess how many members of Congress would be thrown in jail if that were to become law?
