Not true. Any honest vet would know exactly what Kerry was talking about and understand why. They would also read his testimony and clearly see he was in no way attacking the soldiers, just the top brass and the war in general. After all he admitted he too had taken part in atrocities. It wasn't as if he was blaming his fellow soldiers. He was blaming the entire war. Many good soldiers were forced into committing atrocities. It wasn't their fault most of the time it was just the way things were when they got so out of control.
