Zell Miller is an opportunist. His state is trending Republican, and suddenly so is he. Surprise! It's much more fun to be on the winning side. He might was well just become a Republican and spare us his nonsense about dying a Democrat. What is Democratic about him anyway? Ed Koch is just a fool. If he can't see that Bush's agressiveness in the Middle East is doing more to encourage terrorism and to recruit Bin Laden followers, then he's just a fool. The whole 9/11 attacks are having their intended effect. People, like Ed Koch, who would normally focus on domestic issues that are bad for Republicans, instead have their attention focused half way around the world and are supporting Bush and his militarism. Koch should know that we need to solve the Israelie/Palestinian issue and we need to solve our energy problems. He's in favor of the hammer approach, and it's not working in Iraq, and will just lead to more violence.
