He ran as John Kerry the Irishman with the support of the Kennedy clan. For a couple of decades, he led the people of Boston to believe he was Irish.

It was only last year that he revealed he wasn't Irish. And don't tell me the Irish of Boston didn't feel betrayed by the deception. My family and my wife's family is from Boston and I know they were pissed at the deception.

That tells me a lot about Kerry. Pretend you're Irish when you're not. Pretend you're for the war when it benefits you, pretend it doesn't when you think it will help you that way.

We can debate the motives all day long and get nowhere. What can't be disputed is that a majority of vets feel betrayed by Kerry and so do a lot of Irishman.
