If the guy is a sodomite, then outing him is a fine thing. The Sodomites here are really spitting upon themselves. Without knowing it, they are underscoring the fact that being a sodomite is an ugly thing and they are using this ugliness against the politician who allegedly tried to conceal it. The sodomites have only shot one of their own.

Now this district will very likely get a representative who is somewhat decent, strengthening the conservative vote even more. (shrug)
