I started asking if they had seen me or how did they come about this tall tale. Always the same, Griff told me. Same Griff who said I stole a watch my father gave me when I graduated from Bible school, same watch his father gave him for the same thing. Few days later I saw Griff. Hi Griff, you have something on your glasses. He took them off and landed on his butt with what would be a black eye. I told him I'd sue him if he filed charges. He didn't and probably still wonders why I hit him.
