Kerry is climbing the walls tonight, trying to figure out how in hell he can reclaim the initiative and the "high" road; that's any road that leads to a reversal of his sudden death march.

He will revamp his team as he did before the Iowa primaries. He will try to stanch the flow of blood.

He will fail.

The only things keeping Kerry from conceding early is George Soros. Soros has too much invested. And most investors don't know the first principle of investing:

Cut your losses. Go with your winners. Get rid of your losers. And do it now.

The only problem is that George Soros doesn't have a winner and doesn't know any winners. And he still thinks that by holding on, he can recover his investment and then some.

Fat chance.
