What don't you understand? There is no need to take that kind of drastic measure. You can simply move the stock out of margin accounts and into cash accounts. It will accomplish EXACTLY the same thing. Stocks in cash accounts CANNOT be borrowed for shorting. Riley doesn't seem to be able to answer my question regarding the need to take physical delivery. Can you?
