Here in Ontario some retailers occasionally offer no Provincial Tax...no Federal Tax (of course they are really just offering a discount as they cannot declare a real tax holiday :o)... I guess a 15% discount is often incentive enough to make a big ticket purchase with money that would erstwhile be frittered away reducing current debt, or buying necessities like food :o)
