The smear campaign cost Kerry 3% and gave Bush 1%. But only temporarily. Maybe Bush gets another 1% out of the convention. Temporarily.

Now though Bush's WE CANT WIN line and Kerry's new assault could cost Bush 5% and give Kerry 5%. That will put us where we need to be going into th debates where Kerry will crush Bush like a bug. Expect Bush's jobs numbers to be very lousy on Friday too. And Iraq wont help him. The truth is all on Kerry's side. I'm more optimistic than ever thanks to Bush's own mouth.
