LOL! You mean "US laws and standards" as applied in Guantanamo? Tell you what: you should be relieved that your personal data are stored in some call-center database in Bangalore, India... Who knows, perhaps one day, just because you inadvertently chatted over the internet with a "terrorist", YOU TOO will end up in a Guantanamo cell. In that case, your lawyer will be all too happy to dig out your "personal info" from a database located in some remote Indian boondocks! It will allow your lawyer to gainsay the US government and adduce evidence that you, Ms Karen Lawrence, ever existed as a law-abiding US citizen --after your Federal Gestapo has erased ALL records pertaining to "inmate KL-XXXX"....

Now call again that DELL hotline in India --and make sure the operator types your name in correctly....
