I talked to a man this morning and he said that there were many of his friends all praying that the hurricane would turn out to sea.

I am praying non stop for the next days leading to the anticipated landfall that this storm would be turned out to sea where it would dissipate harmlessly.

Intercession always works. God will hear. The story of Lot not going to the mountains and obeying the angels and going to Zoar instead. Well, Zoar was spared because of Lots insistence. God did not spare the other 4 cities of the 'plain' however he did spare the smallest city, Zoar.

Someone will be spared because of our intercession. I know that. It may be a smaller area or city but God always hears the prayers of his children in some way shape or form.

Hopefully it will be Ormond where my daughter resides. Hopefully it will be the whole coast of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.

I ask myself if God would spare us would the nation cry out to God in repentance for our sins and rejoice in His presence. Would the nation be moved to worship and praise to Him who would turn the mighty tempest and spare us from devastation. Would the nation me moved and touched in total appreciation to our Lord and soon coming King.

If it hits the insurance rates of all Americans will increase. There will be a dip in economic activity in the 3rd qtr. Not to mention the loss of lives, of innocent children and elderly. Can marriages survive the turmoil, educational systems will be shut down. Wall Street? who knows?

It is truly a time to seek the Lord and pray and repent, and ask the Lord to turn the tempest, and to rebuke the devourer.....
