Bush is performing his role as President. Forty-eight percent (48%) disapprove. The President's Approval rating has been at 51% or 52% for nine straight days (and thirteen of the last fourteen). During 2004, the President's Approval rating has ranged from a high of 57% in early January to a low of 48% on May 17. For the month of August, it has moved in a narrower range from 50% to 53%.
