Foolsteps to knot follow... IE 4 uninstall. I believe, during the course (3 semester, it felt like) of uninstalling I likely brushed a radio button inviting IE to also remove shared files... like .dll ...

I hope that was my goof, 'cuz if it wasn't that, then I hope you don't discover win95 is disabled when you reboot. I required just a couple of files off the tape backup to get Win running again.
