So the judges admitted their error in this case. It doesn't matter. There are tons of judging mistakes that cost athletes a tenth of a point here, a tenth of a point there, etc. I'm pretty sure if all the objections were raised, and all of the videotaped routines were scrutinized, it would take weeks before we come to any conclusions, and we'd have the Olympic version of Florida 2000.

They gave Yang the wrong start value. It looks like it was a clerical mistake and not one based on subjectivity. On that basis, its unfair to penalize Yang. Either give him another gold or take Hamm's gold back. To lose on a clerical error is ridiculous.
