Membership Classes and Functionality - Now and Go Live

Dave,

Back in message 657 on August 24 SI bob stated:

4. Determine which features will be available to the 3 basic levels of membership, Free, Premium (including Lifers and Grampas) and Premium-Plus (Lifers and Grampas who pay a nominal annual fee for access to the whole featureset). As a rule of thumb, if it's available on this version and being carried over to the new version, it'll be available to existing Lifers and Grampas. If it's a feature the site doesn't have (configurable batch-reading size, private message search, readperson.aspx, etc) it'll be extra cost for lifers but included in recurring subscriptions.

I'm a paid up "Premium Lifer" by Bob's definitions above and have activated my Dev account as per Bob's request.

I'm being shown on that site as User Level '0.'

If I access a message I get a big add in the middle, can't access next 10 (or any other 'paid" features, and if I do I get a big red error code that states:

The Page or Feature you tried to access is not available at your membership level. To upgrade or purchase a subscription that allows you access to these features, go to the Subscription Page.

1.) Is this what I need to put up with until the site goes live?

2.) Am I miscoded?

3.) Is everybody coded this way?

4.) Will I have to put up with this after the site goes live or will I automatically be correctly coded?

5.) If I'm (we are) coded in error how do I (we) get that corrected.

Rather than post this by PM, I'm posting publicly, because I suspect others may have these questions.

Sorry if I've missed some explanation of this posted prior.

TIA and Best,

- Eric -
