8 YEARS vs 8 MOS--it takes supreme gall to blame Pres Bush for 9/11 when your friend John McCain recently said "there is no avoiding this war, we tried it & our reluctance cost us dearly." He was referring to Clinton's failure to neutralize OBL before Sept 11. Pres Clinton said yesterday that OBL has been a threat for 8yrs. He thereby acknowledged that he recognized the threat in 1996 but did nothing.
