It'll either get the Russians to manage their attacks better, or it'll make them indifferent to anything with a Moslem sign on it, including people.
I suspect the latter. That's the rule of the jungle in tribal genocidal conflict, which is what it is when you attack children.
By the end of WWII, the USA was frying alive whole cities of people. That's how things end up when they get bad enough.
The prisoners that the hostage takers want released have probably got reduced life expectancy. I doubt that Putin will let them get away with this, even if a lot of children die. They didn't get away with it in the Moscow theatre and I doubt he'll start now.
I guess he'll say okay, you can have your way just this once, then as the terrorists try to move, they'll lose control of a lot of the children and then after a few days of no sleep, they'll be confused and manage to kill only a fraction of the children and other hostages.
What a horror.
