there will always be partisans, and those parties addicted to the wasteful spending tossed their way thanks to the complete destruction of the federal budget in the Bush term (a surplus that took 10 years to build).

But most folks aren't buying a second Bush term, which is why all the money in the world can't buy him even even poll numbers with a charisma-less opponent like Kerry. Not that I mind no charisma, I'll take substance over style right now, but Bush's future looks pretty grim given his incumbency and the amt of $$ he has spent to buy his way into the white house in 04.
