It's a sad commentary that people should not post here with their real names, or risk ruin, but it seems to be true. I used to post my employer under my profile, but when I posted the URL of an article on the ESOL thread that was contrary to the wishes of ESOL proponents, a lunatic similar to Westergaard started calling my place of employment and trying to ruin my career. Additionally, he attempted to implecate that my employer had something to do with my opinions on the company, even though they did not at all. I only posted my employer to give a frame of reference for those wanting to know what kind of person would post what I post. I'm not dumb enough to think that someone couldn't still find my employer (or my wife, my social security number, or my grandmother if they really wanted to!!), but I decided not to make it that much easier for them.

It is out of principal that I continue to use my real name to post, even though I know that someone could screw me for it. I hope I can continue to do so, and that the praise and criticism that I receive for my posts of fact and opinion will help me be a more informed and educated investor.
