Yes I saw Jim Jubak's article. The earnings growth from BARRA has been very impressive, and he seemed to suggest that there might be lots more growth to come. The things I like about this company are firstly that its no doubt run by clever people with a proven track-record, and secondly that it totally dominates its category in the market. I cannot even think of a closest competitor for this company: they are the only game in town if you're serious about quant software. I see that the stock bounced up again today, regaining most of Friday's losses. Just a temporary blip I guess.
