re: just clipping Punta Gorda That's on the west coast, right? Are we talking the same Punta Gorda? Yes. Did you check out the link for the Weather Channel that I posted? It shows Frances coming in from the southeastern tip of FLA and moving straight up the center of the state. The storm is roughly 300 miles wide.......its very likely that Punta Gorda will feel some of the effects. I don't have to tell you that this is a very dangerous storm. I hope Jim and others in the south are evacuating right now. ted
