I'd say war crimes, as much as Hitler's, because their intention is the same, albeit less effective.

Milosevic is up for war crimes and he wasn't anywhere near as bad as the Islamic Jihadis. Saddam is up for war crimes, not to mention crimes against humanity or something.

NZ is a sick society as far as crime goes [compared with how it was, if not compared with bad countries]. While it's not actively encouraged deliberately, that's the outcome. It's hardening up as extreme barbarism shocks people and increasingly criminals are locked up for a lot longer. An outright murder used to get just 7 year's gaol and perhaps even time off for good behaviour. Now it's around 17 years.

They are certainly reporting it as just another territorial conflict between tribes. It's as legitimate as the Twin Towers destruction; I don't know how Reuters reported that.
