Z, the one thing I've noticed about Kerry is his unwillingness to take any political risks. His service in Vietnam and his protests afterwards might have been the last time he actually stuck his neck out for any cause. Smart people don't take risks with a country as large and as important as the USA. I really think we need to divorce. The two sides of the spectrum are way too far apart. Its two very different ways of viewing the world. I really see no way out of this mess that Bush has created. We may end up killing each other. ted
