I back you 100% on your position as a matter of principal. Wars were fought long ago to prevent our freedom of speech, and I'm sure that they will be fought again. To think that some old windbag can quiet a dissenting opinion with a $5,000 (or $5,000,000) reward is laughable!!

My one suggestion would be to keep your commentary concerning Mr. Westergaard here on this thread and save the PLSIA thread for posts on that stock, as some folks over there don't want to read about it.

Personally, I find this case extremely interesting from the perspective of setting a precident regarding the Internet and exchange of information. I have suggested that my wife, who is a journalist, look into this situation as a story.
