I'm new to the group but would like to ad my opinion. I know of Aames because i live in L.A. and have met the FORMER CEO Gary Judis. One of my partners in my company is a former associate of Mr. Judis. It is his intention as well as mine that Aames is actually in play. If you look at the financials that came out today and read all the verbage you will see that there was a one time charge of some 32 million due to write offs and the acquiation of One Stop. Without those charges EPS probably would have been close to $1.40 per share. My assumption is that if the institutions do not bail tomorrow, the price may open lower however, it may be an opportunity for more institutions to buy at a down spike. Maybe the bad news is behind them. That is if you believe in an acquistion!!! In addition I spoke with Curt Fesbach today and they have not moved on their buy recomendation. I will speak to him tomorrow morning again and will share with you our conversation.
