Speaking of kidney's..... Maybe today is the day, and this is the one. My husband Mike will dialyze today, and then we head to the hospital. We got a call this morning, that they have a kidney for him. This is the 4th time we have gotten a call. Previously for kidney and pancreas. The other 3 times the pancreas was no good. So he did not get either organ. Today's call is just for the kidney. Mike is a little disappointed that it is not for both organs, but decided to take the option for the kidney only. There is always the chance that once we get to the hospital, they could find it an unsuitable match and we could get sent home again. Then again, today could be the day. Every time we have gotten a call for a transplant, it always comes to my mind, that in the joy my family has about Mike receiving a transplant, somewhere out there a family is grieving the loss of a loved one. Please pray also for that family who is grieving today. God Bless Jane
