Saw Winged Migration on a 32" Sony a few
weeks ago--so I'll wait a year or so to
watch it again on my screen. Three Kings--
saw that at The Rose (in the smaller
theatre "Rosebud") over in Port Townsend.
Three stars for Three Kings.

I have to tell my story about seeing
Once Upon a Time in America: A buddy of
mine and I saw it at the Neptune near the
UW. You know how a lot of times coming
out of a movie there is a lot of chit
chat etc. I don't recall a lot of banter,
pretty sure this was not the first theatrical
cut of the movie, the one that bombed, but
a decent cut of the film. Anyway, we walked
back to the dorms, speechless for a couple
blocks.

The image of de Niro's character, with the
crazy grin, in the opium den is burned in
brain. God I love that movie.
