Kill Bill is a good suggestion, I just saw
one of the two, but without checking could
not tell you if it was I or II. I seem to
remember some of the cinematography was a
little over the top, I can visualize her
flight to Japan with the rosy sunset glow etc.
He does like to pay tribute to a lot of his
favorite movies.

You are welcome any time! Til then, see if
these gif's are not clear enough to read.

(actually, not likely to be any better stretched
on to the big screen).

Mr. chit chat is now online <g>:

I have a question for you. I run an S-video
signal into my projector. The machine does
however have a 15 pin component input--for
instance for a PC video signal. The manual
suggests I can get a 3 RCA to 15 Pin breakout
cable. What I wonder is whether this is going
to give me much video improvement. (my DVD player
does not have 15 pin output, just the three
component).

I'll probably order myself up a cable, and do
a $40 experiment flipping between the two inputs.
A fellow at CompUSA said I would not see much of
a difference.

The projector can receive all interlaced and non
interlaced signals right up to HDTV--analog input.
I've no idea what resolution S-video is etc, just
that it is way better than composite and a cut
under typical component input.

I'll be reading some video FAQ today <g>
Naturally I just send the S-video straight from
the DVD to the projector. A 75ohm cheapo rca
coax carries an digital signal to my low-end
receiver. I've ordered up a few DTS/5.1 audio
CD's to play on the DVD player to see what my
receiver really sounds like.

I actually already have an okay 5.1 reciver in
my bedroom. No way was I going to unplug my
sound upstairs just for the garage...
With my home theatre directly under the baby's
room, I may not plug in a sub-woofer. Or, Elise
is just going to have to find a new place to sleep,
heh.
