There does seem to be a storm in the West Pac:
Typhoon 22W--Songda, near 22N 138E, 235NM
SW of Iwo Jima.

Frances is a lot stronger, 125kts.
I've been trying to find a surface ob
at Rum Cay or San Salvador Island, but
no luck so far.

22W looks like a minimal Typhoon.

Uh, Westport. Sorry, you are going to have
to wait awhile. What is it today, 6 feet
7 seconds? And cold water, yuck. But I
would not put it past you surfer folk;-)
Can't say I know a think about surfing.

Say, isn't there a good big wave movie out now?
