Yes, it's certainly an important ratio, not debating there.

This is an interesting point because the 'gloomsters' have pointed out that huge amount of debt have been 'swapped' into short term debt [rather than companies locking in long rates while they're low which is agressive to say the least]. Saves lot's of money unless i rates spike. If this is true they BETTER be paying it down.
