I wish there is a survey showing how many of the current listings are sellers who have already committed to upleg?

This overnight spike in inventory is something I have never experienced before in Southern California.

Both properties that sold around the corner from my house are already doomed. One spec was in the middle of a remodel and work has been halted now for over a month, without a roof, without doors and windows (boarded) and with no chance of recovering cost in this market. The other has been vacant since closing 2 months ago because the buyers are still trying to sell their existing home which they WERE confident that it would sell in days.

The question now is not the slow down but what would trigger anything more than a slow down. I opine a chain reaction could be one bubble burster.
