1) "we hadn't been shot at" The context is the crew of PCF-44: Wasser, Zaladonis, Gargdner, Whitlow, and Hatch. That is the 'we' Kerry is talking about, on pages 188-189 of Tour of Duty. Coulter says that Kerry is lying about his first PH because of this statement, an obvious lie when you read the context of the book. 2) Rassman fell off two different boats in Tour of Duty. ...At that instant, Army Lieutenant Jim Rassman, who was on PCF-35, was blown overboard... That's the only mention of which boat Rassman was on at the time of the explosion. The book clearly states that there were two separate explosions; first the one that cripples PCF-3, then the one whose concussion hits both Kerry's boat and PCF-35. Pg 314, Tour of Duty.
